Nuestro grupo de investigación está compuesto por dos unidades mixtas localizadas una en el Hospital Materno Infantil Inguarán del Gobierno de la Ciudad de México y la otra, en el Instituto Nacional de Medicina Genómica. El enfoque de nuestro trabajo es multidisciplinario e incluye médicos especialistas en ginecología, obstetricia y medicina fetal, nutriólogas clínicas, enfermeras perinatales y doctores en ciencias biomédicas. El grupo se complementa con la participación de estudiantes de pregrado y posgrado.

Proyectos de Investigación

  • Caracterización de la red de señalización que inicia el trabajo de parto humano.
  • Adaptaciones metabólomicas de la mujer embarazada normal y con obesidad.
  • Fisiopatología del parto pretérmino y de la ruptura prematura de membranas.
  • Efectos de la contaminación ambiental en el embarazo humano.
