The Section of Physical Chemistry, Structure and Design of Proteins of the Mexican Society for Biochemistry is pleased to announce its 4th conference, that will be celebrated jointly with the 3rd USA-Mexico Workshop in Biological Chemistry: Protein Folding, Dynamics and Function. These events will take place on November 5-9, 2013 in the historical city of Guanajuato, Mexico, which is a beautiful colonial and safe city.
The main objectives of these events are: to generate a forum for a multidisciplinary discussion on protein folding, dynamics and function; to use this forum to introduce graduate students and young researchers to these research topics; to promote the interactions between senior and young researchers in these fields from the USA and Mexico; and to identify potential collaborations that will help to consolidate research networks in our countries. Using funding from CONACyT, a limited number of fellowships to cover registration and lodging expenses will be available for both, Mexican and US students.
